Both the design and the interface show the typical look of sound recorders. RecordPad allows you to record in the format you want, being able to choose between MP3, WAV or AIFF. All recordings you make with this program will automatically be saved in a kind of playlist, which is appreciated.

An advantage of RecordPad over other similar applications lies in its high customization capacity, allowing any user to modify numerous parameters such as the level of MP3 compression, ranging from 8 to 320 kbps.
